Since the British weather has decided to suddenly go from really hot to really cold, what better thing to do on a rainy morning then play with some make-up? I have been loving watching make-up tutorials my Jamie Geneveive and I guess you could say I was inspired to have a go at trying out some new styles, colours etc.
Lil disclaimer: I know that I am in no way a professional, or have MUA written in my Instagram bio…just a girl who likes to spend far too much money and time playing with make-up. Therefore any make-up looks or posts Iupload will not be perfect- but hey that’s life.
So this is the look that I came up with and I have to say I fricking love it! I used colours that suit me and that I usually go for so I can definitely say that this will be a go-to glam make-up look for myself.
The majority of the eye look was created using the Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Palette which I loooove. I pressed the shade Amber into the crease, really packing the colour on to get the best pigmentation. Then using a clean brush and small circular motions I blended out the harsh edges. I then went in with the colour Eden to further diffuse the red shadow. To deepen up the crease, using a smaller and more defined brush, I went in with the darker shade Oud. Going back in with Amber to blend blend blend…
On the outer section of my eye I packed on the colour Amber, plus deepening the very outer corner with Oud. Again using the process of really packing on the colour and slowly blending out the edges.
Time to cut the crease lil ladies. I used the Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer in C1 to carve out a half cut crease. Then using a flat brush I packed on the white shimmer shade Zuri from the Nubian 2 palette by Juvia’s Place in the inner section of the lid. Returning to the Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Palette, I packed on the shimmer shade Blood Moon on the very center, blending the line of the icy white shade.
Then to blend the shimmer shades of the cut crease into the rest of the look, I used the shades Amber and Oud once again.
Time for a lil bit of glitter because what look is complete without it? I went in with the Urban Decay Heavy Metals Glitter Liner in Distortion and followed the line of the cut crease to define and glitterise!
To highlight the inner corner I used the Wet and Wild MegoGlo Highlighting Powder in Blossom Glow.
To finish off the look I went in with the NYX Epic Ink Liner to create a small wing, to keep the focus of the look on the eye shadow. Plus a pair of lashes; I used the SUSO Lashes in Milan.
Hope you loved reading and discovering what products I used to create this look! As always you can follow me on Instagram to see more make-up looks and more.
