Is it too early to say Happy Christmas?…most of you will probably say yes. But in my world the run up to Christmas is the most joyous time of year, and with that in mind, I plan to prolong that time for as long as possible. So yes, I am 100% that girl who has her Christmas decorations up the moment Halloween celebrations are over.
Obviously this time of year every blogger does a Christmas gift guide in all variations, and I won’t lie I may end up posting one myself. (If that’s something you would like to see, please do let me know!)
Nevertheless I decided to do a different type of gift-guide. This is a list of things you NEED to buy over this festive period. From Christmas mugs to festive movies, I could not last this season without everything on this list. And personally I would be loving life if anyone bought me any of these items!
from top to bottom
Urban Outfitters, Fujifilm Instax™ Mini 9 Red Instant Camera, £79
Christmas time is all about making memories and polaroid cameras are just a cute and quirky way of capturing those sweet memories. Plus I think this red colour is keeping up with those festive feels.
There is nothing better than snuggling up on a cold winter night with a fluffy blanket, a hot chocolate and a good Christmas movie.
A couple of my faves are: The Holiday, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Miracle on 34th Street.
Topshop, Mustard Faux Fur Pom Beanie, £14
Tip 101 on how to keep cosy this Christmas…buy a hat. Preferably one with a big fluffy pom pom. I always follow the rule that if the pom pom is bigger than your head then you’re on the right track.
Lush, Yog Nog Body Spray, £20
If you adore the smell of chocolatey-goodness and all things sweet n Christmassy, then this will be your new favourite scent! Plus I can’t get enough of the garden-inspired bottle Lush keeps the body sprays in.
Any chocolate, cake, biscuity snacks. Pair these with a hot beverage of choice. Plus a fluffy blanket, Christmas movie and you’re good to go.
New Look, Red Brewdolph Christmas Mug, £5.99
I am absolutely in love with this mug, so much so, even when Christmas is done and dusted I will be drinking out this mug all year round! Couple of cookies with each brew of course.
Hotel Chocolat, Milky Hot Chocolate, £9
In my opinion, the ultimate Christmas drink is a luxurious cup of hot chocolate. Of course I love my bucks fizz on Christmas morning and a gingerbread latte, but there really is nothing better than curling up with a hot chocolate in front of a Christmas movie.
ASOS, Christmas Embellished Oversized jumper, £30
Who doesn’t love a Christmas jumper? And brands are fulfilling their duties by providing us with the best Christmas jumpers around. I love the traditional colours at Christmas – red, green and gold – so this one by ASOS is my ‘Christmas‘ cup of tea.
