My Top Picks in EDINBURGH: Restaurants, Bars, Sights!

Over the Christmas period, myself and Sam treated ourselves to a festive weekend away in the magical city that is Edinburgh. The Scottish capital has got to be one of my favourite cities to visit, and would 100% recommend you taking a trip!

Whenever I go to a new city I want to know the best places for food, drinks, coffees…whatever I may fancy while I’m there!
So to help any of you thinking of taking a Scottish break, here’s my top picks and recommendations for Edinburgh!

My Top Three:

Did you really visit Edinburgh if you don’t visit this chic cocktail bar? Tigerlilly is one of Edinburgh’s most iconic bars, and rightly so, from their gorgeous decor to their fabulous cocktails. Want somewhere to treat yourself and feel ultra luxe!? Tigerlilly is the place to be!

125 George St, Edinburgh EH2 4JN

Cold Town House

This is one of my favourite places to visit: Cold Town House! Day or night, this place offers the best stone baked pizzas…and can we just talk about that view! Is there really anything better than sipping on a glass of Prosecco whilst looking up at Edinburgh Castle from the skip apes themed rooftop terrace.

4 Grassmarket, Edinburgh EH1 2JU

Copper Blossom

Copper Blossom is a hidden gem which can be spotted from it’s iconic rose gold and copper decoration. It truly is one of the prettiest bars I have ever visited! They offer stunningly designed cocktails and their food menu is simply delicious. Myself and Sam had a series of tapas dished for lunch featuring pigs in blanket, salt and pepper chicken, halloumi fries, sourdough bread and olives

107 George St, Edinburgh EH2 3ES

So there’s my top three picks that you, without a doubt, should visit if you are visiting Edinburgh!
